Rated 3 out of 5 by Sally from Cordless Curling Tong Good wide barrel which heats up very quickly. Nicely packaged with an attractive storage case. My only criticisms are the overall weight, when travelling by air, and because the charge doesn’t last very long I will have to take the charger with me even, if I go away only for a weekend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Fed from Wasn’t for me Fab idea to have a cordless tong and it was so easy to charge but for my type of hair it wasn’t suitable (fine and short to medium length) It left a soft wave but not the curl I wanted and dropped very quickly as most things do on my hair.

If you have a mane they would be brilliant. Argh! Shame the travel case is fab too… 5 stars for performance because BaByliss is a good make so I am assuming they would be as good as they look.

Longer barrel and much heavier than the gas version but I was blown away with the results. Gives perfect beautiful long lasting curls, am so impressed! Other reviewer said charge doesn’t last 40 mins but I don’t have that problem. The only negative is that its too long and heavy to cary in a handbag for touch ups so I hope Babyliss wont stop making the gas ones!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Deb22 from Not great for short hair. I bought this because I’ve been unable to get refills for my wonderful cordless gas tongs for several months - a supply problem apparently. Although this is a good product I don’t find it easy to use on short hair like mine, it’s heavier and much more cumbersome than the gas tongs. I expect I’d get used to it in time and I’ll keep it as a back up, but as soon as the refills are back in stock I will revert to my original tongs. I also think it’s expensive for what it is. I wish Babyliss made a smaller, lighter version.
