Rated 5 out of 5 by Kris25 from Spot on! To start i always wear a very short stubble so i could only test this product in its lowest settings. However this was enough to show me what a really great well thought out trimmer this is. I want to begin with the new floating head feature, because of this it feels super smooth and easy on your face when trimming which i really liked compared to the traditional fixed head. Next the adjustable guard, the fully covered design of the comb guard means you don’t have to worry what angle or direction you shave your beard, you’re always only going to cut your beard to the length set on the trimmer which i was very pleased with as Ive had trouble in the past with trimmers combs failing to keep to the desired size. I think the motorised adjuster being able to go up in 0.2mm stages is great, i can imagine this being perfect for people who like to create a fade with their beard or ones who love to get it the perfect length. It seems a standard with the ‘Super-X metal series’ that you get this super battery life which i can easily get 5+ full shaves out of before fully charging again which is really good. Im really struggling to find anything wrong or that i would change about this trimming other than really minor things for example; hair can sometimes collect just behind the front comb, i don’t think this effects the trimming in anyway but can just be a little annoying when you go to change direction and a bunch of trimmings falls down your face. Another thing is the size of the trimmer, this trimmer measures around 18x4.5cm, now i know some people prefer a bigger trimmer so you feel like you have a better grip but i think id prefer it a little smaller similar to the ‘Super-X metal series 15in1 trimmer’ size of 15.5x3.5cm. I don't really see this as an issue as i think everyone has their own preference. Overall Im really impressed with this trimmer, i think the design team at Babyliss have worked really hard on perfecting the floating head and adjusting comb guard design and it really shows. Im going to really enjoy how easy this trimmer makes my routine shaving going fourth.
